Our bureau took part in the All-Russian architecture competition for an urban concept of the development of the southern slope and embankment of the Belaya River in Ufa, Bashkorkostan. The competition was organized by the Union of Architects of Russia with the support of the Main Department of Architecture and Urban Planning of Ufa. Our project took an honorable 3rd place.
The project suggests a planning structure that ensures the opening of the city spaces to the river. Our main concept forms the image of a modern city at the entrance to Ufa. Key idea
is an union of city parks in one system. This system provides citizens access to the river
and new embankment.
